What does CRLF Tek do?

CRLF Tek, LLC is a company that does many things one of them is focusing on the exciting area of 3D virtual reality. Within the context of virtual reality, there are various types of reality, including immersive, mixed, and other emerging technologies. Immersive 3D solutions, augmented reality interactive virtual worlds, interactive meetings, simulation based games, and serious games are all part of these developing markets. Within all of these areas, there is a growing demand for 3D content and 3D applications. There is significant market potential in the current use of 3D technologies and projected to be even greater in the future. A few of the areas where these kinds of technologies are currently being utilized are military applications, medical simulations / visualizations, educational markets, virtual world tourism, and architectural applications.

Tutoring / Mentoring

Teaching yourself or your children technical skills can be difficult and frustrating; that’s why finding the right tutor is so important.

I can help school-aged kids and adult learners understand even the most difficult aspects of electronics, robotics, and digital media. I am a passionate, life-long learner who has self taught on the job many skills, along with a vocational degree in electronics. Recently, I have earned an AAS degree in Digital Media while teaching and creating college level courses for about 5 years.

The following are subject areas that I teach:

  • C#, C++, Java, Javascript, LSL (Linden Scripting Language), Actionscript (Flash), Python

I can teach either in person or via internet using any of the related software, including software that is open source and free to download for personal use. The fee for 1-2 individuals is $30 per hour, per person; for groups of 3-6 people, $20 per hour, per person. Internet based tutoring can be done for as little as $20 an hour.
